Botswana Radio Stations

Radio Botswana has broadcast in Setswana and English since independence, later joined by the youth-oriented RB2 and private stations like those serving Gaborone's growing urban audience. Traditional Tswana music and choral singing share airtime with gospel, kwaito, house and jazz — South African influences flow freely across the border. Radio carries particular weight in the Kalahari's remote settlements, where it delivers everything from cattle prices to health campaigns.
