AzuraCast is the open-source radio station management platform this hosting runs on. It handles AutoDJ scheduling, listener statistics, and Icecast-compatible streaming behind the scenes.

Icecast and SHOUTcast are both streaming server protocols for internet radio; Icecast is open-source and more widely supported by modern players and browsers. This hosting uses Icecast-compatible streaming.

Yes. Every plan includes AutoDJ, which plays your uploaded music library on a schedule when no live DJ is connected.

In most countries, yes — streaming copyrighted music requires a license from the relevant rights organization (for example PRS/PPL in the UK, ASCAP/BMI/SESAC in the US). This is the broadcaster's own responsibility; licensing is not included or bundled with hosting.

Yes — listening via the AzuraCast player and stream proxy URL is served over HTTPS.

When you choose a plan, you start a 30-day free trial. Your station is set up during the trial and you have full access to your plan's features. If you don't cancel, your card is charged automatically once the trial ends.

Yes. A valid payment method is required before the trial starts, so your subscription can continue automatically afterward. You are not charged during the trial itself.

Your first charge happens automatically when your 30-day trial ends, unless you cancel before then. The exact date is shown on your checkout confirmation and in your account.

Yes. Cancel any time during the trial and you will not be charged. Cancelling does not delete your station or its data — that is a separate action.

Once your hosted station passes a health check, it can be listed in the public ice Radio FM directory with a "Hosted & Verified by ice Radio FM" badge. Paying for hosting does not itself boost a station's organic ranking.
