1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use ice Radio FM:

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password.
Usage Data: We collect information about which stations you listen to, how long you listen, and your interactions with the service.
Technical Data: Your IP address, browser type, and device information are collected automatically.
Cookies: We use cookies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and track the currently playing station.
Billing and Subscription Data: If you subscribe to Premium or Radio Hosting, we store your subscription status, plan, trial and billing dates, and the Stripe identifiers needed to manage that subscription. We do not store your card number.
Radio Hosting Account Data: If you use Radio Hosting, we store the station settings you configure (name, description, and similar fields), operational logs needed to provide and troubleshoot the service, and identifiers linking your account to the underlying station infrastructure we operate on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain our radio streaming service
To personalize your experience (favorites, playlists, listening history)
To display listener counts and station statistics
To improve our service and fix issues
To send important service notifications

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., total listener counts per station) publicly. Your reviews and ratings are visible to other users alongside your display name.

4. Data Retention

Your account data, including listening history, is retained as long as your account is active; it is not automatically deleted on a fixed schedule. You can clear your listening history at any time from your dashboard settings. Listener heartbeat data is ephemeral and deleted within minutes of disconnection.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. You can clear your listening history at any time from your dashboard settings.

6. Third-Party Services

Radio streams are provided by third-party broadcasters. When you listen to a station, your connection may be routed through our proxy or directly to the broadcaster. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external broadcasters.

If you purchase a Premium or Radio Hosting subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; Stripe handles that data under its own privacy policy.

If you use Radio Hosting, your station is operated on infrastructure managed through AzuraCast, the radio broadcast software we run for this purpose. Operational data needed to run your station (such as configuration and connection details) is processed there as part of providing the service.

7. Radio Hosting Data Retention

If your Radio Hosting subscription is cancelled or a payment fails, your station configuration and data are preserved, not automatically deleted - see the Radio Hosting page. Deleting a hosted station and its data is a separate, explicitly confirmed action you can request.
