Belize Radio Stations

Belizean radio is a Creole-inflected, trilingual affair: English is official, Kriol is the street language of broadcasting, and Spanish serves the north and west. LOVE FM built a national network with news and easy listening, while KREM Radio grew from grassroots activism with punta rock — the Garifuna-driven genre that is Belize's musical signature — plus reggae, soca and marimba traditions from the Mestizo west. Community announcements still travel fastest by radio.
