Antarctica Radio Stations

Antarctica has no permanent population, but it does have radio: research stations run small internal broadcast services for overwintering crews, and Argentina's LRA36 Radio Nacional Arcángel San Gabriel transmits from Esperanza Base — a shortwave curiosity prized by DXers worldwide. American McMurdo Station has operated its own radio for personnel morale. Streams associated with the continent are typically station-community projects or tributes, soundtracking the most isolated workplaces on earth.
