Tiny Andorra owns an outsized radio legend: mid-century Radio Andorra beamed music across Europe from the Pyrenees, defying wartime and postwar broadcasting monopolies. Today the public Ràdio Nacional d'Andorra runs Ràdio Andorra and music station Andorra Música, broadcasting in Catalan, the principality's official language. French and Spanish stations spill over the mountains, and playlists mix Catalan pop with French and Spanish hits.
