Радиостанции Малави

The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation long held a monopoly here, broadcasting in Chichewa and English, but liberalisation in the 1990s unleashed a wave of private and religious stations. Zodiak Broadcasting became a trusted independent news voice, while gospel programming dominates weekends across the country. Local gospel choirs, Malawian afro-pop and Congolese rumba fill music slots, and radio remains the primary information lifeline in rural districts where it outreaches every other medium.
