Радиостанции Ireland

RTÉ anchors Irish radio with Radio 1's agenda-setting talk shows, pop-driven 2FM, and Raidió na Gaeltachta broadcasting entirely in Irish for Gaeltacht communities. Today FM and Newstalk lead a lively commercial sector. Ireland's talk-radio culture is intense, with Liveline's listener phone-ins a national institution. Local stations enjoy loyalty that is rare in Europe, and traditional music sessions remain a fixture of weekend schedules.
