Emisoras de radio de Egipto

Egyptian radio shaped the Arab world: state radio from Cairo carried Umm Kulthum's legendary first-Thursday concerts to millions, and the Quran Kareem station and Voice of the Arabs remain historic institutions under the National Media Authority. Private FM arrived with Nogoum FM's Arabic pop and Nile FM's English hits. Egyptian Arabic dominates a dial where mahraganat street-pop now jostles with the classical tarab heritage.
