Croatian public broadcaster HRT runs Hrvatski Radio's three national channels plus regional stations along the coast and interior. Commercial networks Otvoreni Radio and Narodni Radio split the market between international pop and domestic zabavna and folk music. Croatian is the language of the air, with dalmatinska klapa harmonies and festival pop a distinctive local flavor. Radio 101, Zagreb's once-rebellious youth station, holds cult status.
