Nauru Radio Stations

Nauru, the world's smallest island republic, is served by state-run media whose radio arm broadcasts in Nauruan and English for roughly 12,000 residents, with content from Australian and international partners filling out the schedule. Programming is necessarily intimate — government announcements, church news for the predominantly Christian population, island sports including the national obsession with Australian rules football, and Pacific pop. Radio Australia relays have long supplemented the local service.
